E.g; smoking, drinking tea, coffee or colored drinks can stain your teeth; In this case, the teeth bleaching effect will last shorter. Teeth bleaching should be done by dentists.

Teeth Whitening Methods

Teeth bleaching treatments can be done in two different ways in general; Office teeth bleaching and home teeth bleaching.

Office type bleaching is the most effective method among teeth bleaching processes. The peroxide ratios of the bleaching agents used in the treatment are relatively higher. For this reason, whitening is provided in a shorter time and its effect lasts longer. Inoffice type bleaching, first of all, tartar cleaning should be done.

Before and after the session, photographs are taken of the teeth of the person and the color of the teeth is determined. Before the in-office bleaching application, the gums are covered with a protective barrier. Then a gel with bleaching properties is applied to the teeth. The gel application is repeated 2 or 3 times at intervals of 15 minutes

Office type bleaching is completed in 2 or 3 sessions. The number of sessions may vary according to the coloration of the tooth. It is recommended to stay away from coloring foods such as tea and coffee and cigarettes or to consume less in the days between sessions. Sensitivity may occur in the teeth after bleaching procedures; For this, desensitizing toothpaste is recommended.

Home Bleaching

In the home method of teeth bleaching, first of all, color detection is performed. In this framework, a suitable transparent plaque is designed according to the measurements taken before the treatment. Bleaching agents used for home-type bleaching contain a low percentage of “carbamide peroxide”.

The tubes are produced in transparent plates and a bleaching agent is given to the patient. The patient applies the bleaching procedure himself at home. The dentist tells the patient about the application. Sick, according to the instructions for the application every day, 2 times apply the bleaching gel.
